I know the USB ports are fine because they are used for many other devices (cameras, ipods, gps, phones) that function as expected. When it is plugged in, I get a message saying 'Connecting to digital microscope'īut nothing ever happens. The software can detect when the scope is plugged in and when it itsn't.
The microscope was instantly recognized and correct driver installed. I installed everything according to directions. It is a Celestron 44302 and plugs into a USB port.
Running Windows Vista Home Premium, fully updated, no apparent problems except for the microscope. Digital Microscope unable to connect to software.
